PCI DSS
Data Security Made Easy

Are you confused by Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS)? Are you still trying to determine what your obligations are? Chase Paymentech can help you become PCI compliant.

What is PCI DSS?
PCI DSS is a set of comprehensive requirements for payment data security developed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is made up of representatives from Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover® and JCB®. The aim of this Council is to ensure that there is adherence across the payments industry to specific security standards. PCI compliance is a merchant responsibility and applies to any merchant that stores, transmits or processes cardholder information. Organisations that fail to comply, risk not being allowed to handle cardholder data and significant fines if data is lost or stolen.
